Black Friday gets the budget, the meetings and the attention. But two other dates in November can move just as much affiliate revenue if you plan for them: Singles’ Day on Wednesday 11 November 2026 and Cyber Monday on 30 November 2026.
The two days behave very differently. Singles’ Day is an early, optional warm-up that some shops skip entirely. Cyber Monday closes Black Week, and in 2026 it has an unusual advantage in Denmark. This guide explains how each day works and which partners to brief for each.
Singles’ Day: an early peak that not everyone needs
Singles’ Day started in China and is huge there, but in the Nordics it is a smaller, more selective event. In a 2025 member survey by Dansk Erhverv, 16% of Danish webshops selling to consumers ran Singles’ Day offers. Around a third of them expected a positive bottom line from the day, and another third took part mainly for reasons such as branding.
The same survey found that Singles’ Day increasingly falls inside the Black Friday campaign period, and a quarter of shops launched their first offers on 1 November. In other words, 11 November is no longer an isolated date. It is often the first real push of a month-long campaign.
That makes Singles’ Day useful for affiliates in a specific way: it lets you test codes, landing pages and commission levels with real traffic two weeks before the main peak.
Cyber Monday: the finale of Black Week
In the US, Cyber Monday is the biggest online shopping day of the year. Adobe measured 14.25 billion dollars in US online spending on Cyber Monday 2025, up 7.1% on the year before, compared with 11.8 billion dollars on Black Friday. Mobile accounted for 57.5% of Cyber Monday sales.
In Denmark the picture has been different. Dansk Erhverv found that Cyber Monday made up about 8% of revenue from Monday to Cyber Monday during Black Week in 2023, roughly on a level with the other weekdays. Only Black Friday stood out.
Why Cyber Monday matters more in Denmark in 2026
In 2024 and 2025, Black Friday fell on payday for many Danes. In 2026 it does not. Black Friday is on Friday 27 November, and many Danes are paid three days later, on Monday 30 November, which is Cyber Monday.
Figures from s360, quoted by Dansk Erhverv, show sales rising 30–60% on paydays and typically 10–20% on the day after, with fashion and lifestyle brands seeing the largest lift. Dansk Erhverv’s advice is to plan ads, budgets and pricing around the Monday, and to have a plan for Tuesday 1 December instead of switching everything off at midnight.
For your affiliate programme, that means Cyber Monday should not just be the tail end of your Black Friday brief. Treat it as its own peak with its own message.
Which affiliate types perform on each day
The two days attract different shoppers, so different partners do the heavy lifting.
Singles’ Day
- Content and review sites that can publish an early deals overview and capture research traffic.
- Influencers and social partners, because the self-treat angle of the day suits personal recommendations.
- Newsletter partners who can send a single, focused mailing on 11 November.
Cyber Monday
- Voucher and deal sites, which collect last-chance traffic from shoppers who missed Black Friday.
- Cashback and loyalty partners, which are strong when shoppers have just been paid and compare total value.
- Price comparison sites, especially for electronics, where Adobe recorded discounts of up to 31% on Cyber Monday 2025.
- Mobile-first partners such as apps and social channels, given that most Cyber Monday purchases now happen on phones.
How to set up your programme for both dates
- Decide by mid-October whether you will run Singles’ Day at all. If you do, tell partners the exact offer, code and dates at least two weeks ahead.
- Use separate codes or tracking parameters for Singles’ Day, Black Friday and Cyber Monday so you can compare the days afterwards.
- Keep something back for Cyber Monday: a new product, a bundle or an extra free-shipping threshold gives partners a reason to post again.
- Consider a time-limited commission bonus on 30 November for top partners, rather than a higher rate across the whole of Black Week.
- Agree how 1 December is handled. Either end the offer cleanly and tell partners when, or run a clearly announced extension.
- Update your product feed with sale prices and start and end dates so comparison partners show correct prices on each day.
Avoid fatigue between the peaks
With offers running from early November to the end of the month, shoppers and partners can tire of the same message. Vary the creative angle: self-treat for Singles’ Day, biggest selection for Black Friday, last chance and payday for Cyber Monday. Keep discount levels consistent with what you have promised, so partners who promoted an early offer do not feel undercut later.
Vigtigste pointer
- Singles’ Day is optional in the Nordics, but a useful test run two weeks before Black Friday.
- Cyber Monday 2026 falls on payday for many Danes, so plan it as a separate peak.
- Brief content and social partners for Singles’ Day, and voucher, cashback and comparison partners for Cyber Monday.
- Track each day separately and decide in advance what happens on 1 December.
November is long, and the shops that plan each peak on its own terms usually get more from their partners. Want a second opinion before peak season? Start with a free audit of your affiliate programme.
